Workshop on societal benefits of EO

What are the value and impacts of Earth observation and information? A workshop entitled “Advancing the understanding and measurement of the societal benefits of Earth Observations” will be held as a follow-on to the GeoValue workshops conducted in 2017 as a GEO side-meeting in Washington DC and in 2016 at OECD in Paris. The goal of the 2019 workshop, organized by ESA, NOAA, USGS, EARSC, and FourBridges, is to further improvements in the valuation of EO end-use benefits through the showcase of concrete results and cross-fertilization with other domains.


The workshop, hosted by ESA-ESRIN at Lgo G.Galilei 1, Frascati, Italy, will be held July1-3, 2019.
